I wanted to put together an end-of-year post. But unfortunately I was up to my eyeballs trying to meet a deadline, so I never got around to it. Rather than post a late one, I’m posing a JUST IN TIME post to talk about . . .
What’s in store for 2015?
Well, I have some exciting announcements and news for you guys, so please hang in there for the whole post!
First off, I want to finish my Fate Series. I’m already one step closer to doing that because I just finished writing Suspicious Minds (Fate #3), Lorenzo Moreno’s story. In case you need a refresher, because I know it’s been a while, he is Vince Moreno’s younger brother and was introduced in the first book in the series, Fate.
For those of you who missed the cover reveal, here it is along with the official blurb and the first surprise mini teaser I posted on my FB this past week.
Good girls cheat too.
It’s a bitter reality Lorenzo Moreno knows all too well.
After his “good girl” fiancée blindsides him by cheating on him with her ex, Lorenzo swears off relationships for a while, if not forever.
Until Fate steps in.
Unable to fight the incredible pull he feels to Olivia, a girl who was supposed to be just a meaningless one night stand, Lorenzo gives into his heart. But only after making one thing utterly clear. He will not deal with any exes or other men in her life. Period.
She’s not that person anymore.
For too long Olivia Romero shamefully put up with a manipulative and overly controlling boyfriend. So when Fate pairs her up with the gorgeous but intense Air Force pilot, she’s ready to stand her ground. Cutting all ties with her ex is no sacrifice for Olivia. It’s why she willingly complies with Lorenzo’s uncompromising stipulation.
As their relationship intensifies, so do Lorenzo’s suspicions about any man in her life. Determined to not be that weak girl anymore, Olivia demands to be trusted. Despite how vehement her new boyfriend can be, her diligence seems to be working.
But when an unforeseen crisis arises, Olivia is forced to make a decision. A decision she knows in Lorenzo’s jaded and suspicious mind could be unforgivable.
Mini Teaser!
“Did you sleep with him?” Lorenzo asked his heart spiking despite the fact that he already knew the answer to that.
“Baby—”
“Don’t call me that!” he said loudly. “Just answer the fucking question! Did you sleep with him?”
“It’s complicated.”
“No it’s not!” He backed away from her bed, feeling the enormous ache in his heart mixed with the anger and disgust inundate him. “It’s simple enough. Either you did or you didn’t. Which is it?”
Coming in the first quarter of 2015!
Release date TBA soon!
Now for the first mini announcement. I’ll let you guys in on something I’m VERY excited about it. As you may’ve noticed in the above blurb, Lorenzo’s love interest is a Romero. For anyone wondering, yes, she is related to Romero. She’s his cousin, and the best thing is she has four siblings. Expect more from them. I’ll elaborate more on this in the months to come!
Fate #4 (Sydney’s story) will be coming later this year too. In case anyone needs a refresher, Sydney is Sarah’s childhood best friend in Forever Mine and Forever Yours. There is also a mini Forever Mine prequel that gives a deeper insight to Sydney and Sarah’s relationship prior to her moving out to California and meeting Angel. His past will play a big part in his future with his new love interest! 😉 You can read the mini prequel here!
I also plan to get back to Desert Heat! Read a review!
The Santiago Brothers have been restless in my head and those Desert Ratz are also begging for their stories to be told so we will definitely be seeing more of them this year!
But I think most of you sort of knew these stories were coming. I’ve been talking about it here and there.
So time for a new announcement.
I have a new story to share with you guys. Completely unrelated to any of my past series or characters. It’s an idea that started WAY back when I first started researching for Forever Mine. But the conflict was different so I hesitated and placed it on the back burner. Still, I began to write it regardless. I’d set it aside and work on the stories I knew I’d be publishing instead but I always came back to it. Each time writing a little more. When I’d written over 50% I REALLY started getting excited and I could hardly wait to get back to it even if it was only for fun and it’d never see the light of day. Well, now that I’m nearly done with it I decided I’m just going to do it. I’m putting it out. I’ve had a couple of my most trusted betas who I know give it to me straight read what I have so far. They really enjoyed it. They both had similar comments. Most notable was “Gah the conflict is awesome!” For now all I can say about it is:
1. It’s a contemporary romance. No paranormal or sci-fi or shift shapers. Expect a hot headed alpha male and a strong willed heroine.
2. It will be coming to you in three parts.
3. The first part should be out in the first half of the year.
4. Waiting for the next parts to be published will be minimal as in a couple of weeks at most.
5. The title to this serial is “Defining Love.”
6. I’ll have more details along with blurbs, and cover reveals in the coming months!
Lastly. I recently came across a YA romance I started writing WAY back. I’d completely forgotten about it and was quickly sucked into the story until I got to where I left it unfinished. It felt just like when I fumbled across my paper copy of what I had written of Forever Mine back in geez 2006? I got so excited I decided to finish it and two years later I finally published it. Well that maybe be happening all over again. Stay tuned!
I hope you’re excited about 2015 because I know I am! So much to look forward to! Let me know what you’re thinking either here or on my FB page and enter to win a signed copy of one of my paperbacks.
Your choice!
